At Red Mist Leisure, training and development is something we openly promote to our staff, so we are proud to offer apprenticeship schemes through Farnborough College, Basingstoke College of Technology, South Thames College and Havant & South Downs College.

Benefits of apprenticeships:
Earn whilst you’re learning
Receive a recognised qualification
Gain real work experience
Develop your skills
Benefit from ongoing and personalised support
Opportunities at Red Mist Leisure
Our apprenticeship opportunities are available for individuals who are over 16 years old and have finished full-time education.
The schemes involve working 4 days a week in one of our pub kitchens, combined with 1 day a week attending college. Your time at college will be a mixture of theory and practical assessments and you will also be assigned a tutor who will visit you at work, to check on your progress and assist in any areas where you need further guidance. Alternatively, colleges also offer the option to be assessed weekly in your workplace.
For both options, the courses take just over one year to complete, to include the end-point assessment. Courses can be started at the beginning of the academic year or at any point throughout the year offering complete flexibility.
We also offer our apprentices the following to support them during their learning:
- Competitive wage
- Bonus on completion of the apprenticeship
- A Young Person’s Rail Card for the year (age applicable)
- Financial support towards travel
