We host 3 monthly networking events at our pubs, helping to build the local business communities and give insightful and motivating talks from a huge variety of fascinating guest speakers. All of the events are free to register, but we ask for a small donation on arrival to the pub’s local charity.
Each year we get a team of staff, suppliers, friends and customers together for a challenge, raising money for a one or two chosen charities.
In 2015, we had a 20 strong team train over the long winter months to run the Fleet Half Marathon in aid of Red Balloon and Phyllis Tuckwell where we raised £5,500. Then in 2016, 4 teams of 10 completed the Red Mist Ramble; a 26.1 mile walk across the stunning but gruelling Surrey countryside to raise £7,000 for Challengers and Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care.
2017 saw our toughest challenge yet, when 16 members of our team took on climbing the 3 highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales. Find out how we did here.

Red Mist Ale
Since 2014, we have been offering our own recipe Red Mist Ale at all of our pubs and 20p of every pint sold is donated to that pub’s local charity, on average, raising over £400 a month!
CherryFest Music Festival
CherryFest is our annual, fun-filled day of fantastic live music and great food and drink held at The Duke of Cambridge in May. In 2016, the event raised a whopping £7,500 for Cherry Trees charity through ticket sales, face painting, raffle tickets and loads more fundraising events on the day.
Helping local fundraising events for schools and charities is a big part of our charitable support and we donate many meal vouchers and bottles of bubbles as raffle prizes throughout the year.
