The Red Lion Letting Rooms Terms and Conditions

General
Your contract is with The Red Lion Village Pub Inn and Dining in Odiham, Hampshire.  Please read our Terms & Conditions carefully as you will be bound by them.

Reservations
We require your credit card details to guarantee all reservations. We will not charge your credit card until departure but will require a swipe of the credit card upon arrival. When your booking is complete, you will be issued with a confirmation number. Please bring this confirmation number with you when you check-in. The persons named in a booking must be the persons who actually will be staying.
For group bookings (of 3 rooms or more) a 50% prepayment will be taken 8 weeks prior to your arrival date, and the remaining deposit due 4 weeks prior, which is non-transferable.

Cancellations
If cancelled up to 2 pm one day prior to the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled after 2 pm one day prior to the date of arrival, or in case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation booking will be charged.  To make a cancellation please email your request to: bookings@redlionodiham.co.uk

Group Cancellation Policy (applicable on bookings of 3 rooms or more)
Group reservations can be cancelled without charge up to 8 weeks prior to the date of arrival. Reservations cancelled or amended within 4 weeks to the date of arrival will incur the full charge of the total reservation booking including any taxes. Prices
All rates include VAT (and local taxes) at the current rate. Rates are per room, per night, inclusive of continental breakfast (mid-week) or full English breakfast (weekends). All rates are non-commissionable. Rates quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, nights and dates shown. Should you change the number of guests, dates or room nights, please note the rates will be subject to change. All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid debit/ credit card.

Availability
In the rare case that due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot deliver your requested accommodation, we will endeavour to find you alternative accommodation. Our liability will not extend beyond this.

Payment
We do require a credit card to guarantee advance bookings. We accept credit cards and cash payments. Cheques are not accepted. Payment is taken on departure. We accept the following payment cards: Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Maestro and Solo.

Pet policy

We love your four-legged friends, and all our pubs within the Red Mist family are dog-friendly. We are delighted to now offer a small selection of dog-friendly accommodation rooms at The Red Lion, Odiham.

Please note the following T&C’s relating to bringing your pets for an overnight stay.

  1. We have a limited allocation of bedrooms that can accommodate small/ medium-sized dogs. Guests therefore must advise us at the time of booking (please call directly, as individual room requests cannot be accommodated via our online booking portal) if you wish to bring a dog. Unless you are specifically booked into a room where dogs are permitted, you may not have a dog in our bedrooms. This is because, whilst we love dogs, some guests do not and may have sensitive allergies.
  2. Well behaved dogs over 1 year may share their owners’ room for an additional fee of £15 per night, inclusive of VAT. This fee covers the additional anti-allergic deep clean that will take place upon departure.
  3. Guests are only permitted to have one pet in a room at any given time.
  4. Your dog must not be left alone in the pub rooms at any time. When dining with us, you are welcome to bring your dog with you in the pub’s designated dog-friendly dining areas but do ask that your dog be well trained in public areas where food is being served.
  5. Staff are not permitted to care for your pet during your stay e.g., feeding/ walking.
  6. Please ensure your dog is always kept on a lead when in public areas of the pub and inn.
  7. We appreciate accidents can happen; therefore, we ask that you let us know if any accident occurs. Any damage to the room caused by your dog will be assessed by our Duty Manager and any cost incurred will be charged to your card.
  8. We do politely request that guests control and manage noise made by their pet during their stay, especially in the evenings and overnight, to ensure it does not disturb other guests.
  9. Please take particular care when taking your dogs outside of the building and keep them on a lead until you feel it is safe to remove, as there is a main road at the front of the pub.
  10. If taking your dog outside of the premises overnight, we do ask that you ensure the outer doors are secure and locked at all times. Please do not forget to take your keys with you, as we do not have staff on premises between 11 pm – 6 am.
  11. We reserve the right to review our accommodation commitment should continued disturbances to other guests occur.

Acceptance of Children
Children of all ages are welcome.

Damages and Breakages
Please take care when staying on our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages, which you or your party may cause to the accommodation or its contents. We ask that you report any incidents as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant and we may make an additional charge if you did not report breakages or damages.

Liability
We do not accept liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

The Red Lion, Odiham and The Stag on the River, Eashing
This Escape with Friends packaged offer provides exclusive hire of the accommodation located above the pubs for you and your friends, which is inclusive of 7 en-suite rooms. The sizing of the bedroom space and bed style varies, however, each hotel can accommodate 14 people sharing 7 rooms. Please be aware that at both properties, only one room can be accommodating to twin occupancy (separate beds), all other rooms can offer double or sole occupancy only.  Please be aware, there are no areas within the accommodation areas for guests to share i.e. lounge, kitchen etc.

The Wellington Arms, Stratfield Turgis
This Escape with Friends packaged offer provides exclusive hire of the Main House accommodation located above the pub for you and your friends, which is inclusive of 6 en-suite rooms. The sizing of the bedroom space and bed style varies, however, the offer is based on 12 people sharing 6 rooms. Please be aware that only one room can be accommodating to twin occupancy (separate beds), all other rooms can offer double or sole occupancy only.  Please note, there are no areas within the accommodation areas for guests to share i.e. lounge, kitchen.

The Escape with Friends package is inclusive of a three-course meal, which is based on a starter, main and dessert, per person. You are welcome to choose across both our A la Carte and Daily Specials menus. Please note, a £5 supplement will apply for any main meal ordered that is priced £25 or more. Breakfast is also included. Please note, this package is exclusive of drinks. You are welcome to continue purchasing drinks at the bar in the pub with your guests past closing time (limitations apply per pub as per their license), the time will be advised at the time of booking.

Doggy House Rules…

  1. All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times inside and out.
  2. Only doggy treats and water are to be consumed inside.
  3. Four paws to remain on the floor at all times, not on the furniture
  4. Please be mindful and respectful of other guests and the staff – not everyone feels the same about dogs.

When booking a table and bringing your pup, please make it clear on the booking, so that you can be located in a dog-friendly location within the pub.  Not all areas of the restaurant will be available to pups.

Corporate Relationship Discount Terms & Conditions

OFFER
We are pleased to work closely with selected local businesses and schools, subject to approval, to offer their employees a discount on dining with us at selected Red Mist pubs.

DISCOUNT 
Should your company have an established discount rate in place with one of our pubs, you will need to show proof, such as an ID card or a payslip, in order to receive this discount off your total food and drink bill.  Please note, this discount will be valid at specific pubs only, which will be noted on your company’s intranet and will only be valid when a main meal has been purchased in addition to drinks i.e. you cannot just order drinks. The employee must be present in order to claim the discount. Should you not have proof of your employment with you, you will not be able to claim your discount. Please note, this discount cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion.

VALIDITY DATES
This discount will be available on an annual basis and is subject to a positive working relationship between the chosen pub and corporate business. Please note, this discount excludes 1st – 31st December and may not be valid on peak dates including, but not limited to, Valentine’s Day, Mothering Sunday, Easter Sunday and Father’s Day.

Christmas & New Year’s Eve Terms & Conditions

CONFIRMATION
To confirm a reservation for our Christmas Party Menu, or a New Year’s Eve dining experience, a £10 deposit per person is required at the time of booking.
To confirm a reservation for an a la carte dining experience at some Red Mist pubs in December, a £10 deposit per person may also be required.

Pre-orders will be required for all Christmas and New Year’s Eve menu dining experiences that require a deposit at the time of booking (excludes a la carte menus). Dates for pre-order deadlines will be confirmed at the time of enquiry. The balance of the meal must be settled on the date of your reservation along with any drinks and extras.

GUEST NUMBERS
Should your party decrease in size, we will refund the deposit in full prior to 7 days in advance of your booking. Any reduction in your party size after this date will result in a loss of your deposit. We will do our best to accommodate any increases in party size after your reservation has been confirmed but cannot guarantee that additional guests will be able to dine.

CANCELLATION
Deposits are non-refundable should you cancel or move the date of a confirmed booking less than 7 days prior to your party. Additionally, should you cancel a confirmed booking on the day; we reserve the right to keep the deposit and charge fully for the chosen menu based on the number of guests anticipated. Charges apply to both lunch and dinner reservations.

GRATUITY AND VAT
An optional service charge of 10% will be added to the final bill of all parties of 8 or more.

Father’s Day Terms & Conditions

CONFIRMATION
To confirm a reservation on Father’s Day, a £10 deposit per person is required at the time of booking. The balance of the meal must be settled on the date of your reservation along with any drinks and extras.

GUEST NUMBERS
Should your party decrease in size, we will refund the deposit in full prior to 7 days in advance of your booking. Any reduction in your party size after this date will result in a loss of your deposit.

We will do our best to accommodate any increases in party size after your reservation has been confirmed, but cannot guarantee that additional guests will be able to dine.

CANCELLATION
Deposits are non-refundable should you cancel or move the date of a confirmed booking less than 7 days prior to your party. Additionally, should you cancel a confirmed booking on the day; we reserve the right to keep the deposit and charge fully for the chosen menu based on the number of guests anticipated.

Charges apply to both lunch and dinner reservations.

GRATUITY AND VAT
An optional service charge of 10% will be added to the final bill.

GIFT VOUCHERS

As of 1st June 2018, all gift vouchers purchased must be made online via any of our pub websites.  Any existing paper Red Mist Leisure gift vouchers will be valid until their listed expiry date, please note these cannot be extended.  To protect customers from fraudulent activity/ stolen cards, for security reasons all Red Mist Leisure online vouchers will not be activated until 48 hours after purchase i.e. if you purchase a voucher on Monday, you will not be able to use this voucher in our pubs until Wednesday. Gift vouchers are available as an e-voucher or can be sent via post and can be used at any Red Mist Leisure pub. All full-price vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Discounted vouchers will have limited validity, which may vary depending on the offer.

Flash-Sale Gift Vouchers (discounted)

During selected times of the year, gift vouchers will become available, at a discounted rate, via our flash-sale promotions. These gift vouchers can only be purchased online via our pub websites and are valid at all participating Red Mist pubs (exclusions will be noted on your gift voucher).  Please note, a maximum of £500 worth of flash-sale gift vouchers can be used in any one visit.  Discounted vouchers will carry a shorter validity date, which will be noted on your voucher and cannot be split down into smaller denominations.

Each gift voucher purchased will feature a unique reference code. Please ensure you present your valid gift voucher to your server at the time of requesting your bill to enable redemption. Each voucher must be used in a single transaction and cannot be part-used or exchanged for cash.  Please note, discounted vouchers cannot be extended past their expiry date, unless government restrictions prevent customers from using.

If you have paid a discounted price for a gift voucher, we will not be able to split these down in value for the recipient. They will need to be used in the whole value that they were purchased in order to benefit from the discount.  Should the recipient wish to split the value down into smaller denominations, they will lose the applied discount and instead will receive the value that was paid.

Monetary Gift Vouchers

All gift vouchers must be purchased online via our website, in nominations of £20 | £30 | £40 | £50 | £60 | £70| £80| £90| £100 | £250 which can be used against food, drink and accommodation across all Red Mist Leisure pubs.  Each gift voucher purchased will feature a unique reference code. Please ensure you present your valid gift voucher to your server at the time of requesting your bill to enable redemption. Each voucher must be used in a single transaction and cannot be part-used or exchanged for cash.

If you have paid full-price for a gift voucher, we will be pleased to split these down into smaller values for the recipient, should they wish. Please get in touch with Head Office to request this.

Prosecco & Nibbles Gift Vouchers

All gift vouchers must be purchased online via our website. This Prosecco & Nibbles voucher package is an online offering only and may not be listed on all of our pub menus, therefore you will need to show this voucher when placing your order. Enjoy a bottle of chilled prosecco with a sharing board of rustic bread and olives for two. Should you wish to upgrade to English sparkling wine, this is available via the drop-down menu of the gift voucher page.  Available every day at any of our Red Mist Leisure pubs.  Each voucher will feature a unique reference code, which must be presented to your server before requesting your bill.  Each voucher must be used in a single transaction and cannot be part-used or exchanged for cash.

Dinner for Two Gift Voucher

All gift vouchers must be purchased online via our website.  Enjoy a credit, to the value of £70, to enjoy across all food and drinks, including daily specials. This voucher can be used at any Red Mist Leisure pub or inn. Each voucher will feature a unique reference code, which must be presented to your server before requesting your bill.  The voucher must be used in a single transaction and cannot be part-used or exchanged for cash.

Bed & Breakfast for Two

All gift vouchers must be purchased online via our website. Enjoy an overnight experience, based on Bed & Breakfast, at our three pub inns, The Red Lion in Odiham, Hampshire, The Wellington Arms in Stratfield Turgis, Hampshire and The Stag on the River in Eashing, Surrey. Please note, accommodation gift vouchers are valid Thur – Sun inclusive, unless otherwise stated. You can use the drop-down menu to select extra nights. Each voucher features a unique reference code, which must be presented at check-in. If you wish to book your accommodation online, use promo code ‘GiftVoucherBB’ and provide a note of your unique reference code within the notes section of your booking.  You will be asked to provide your credit card details at the point of booking, which is purely to act as a guarantee. Please note, this package can only be booked up to three months (12 weeks) in advance. Each voucher features a unique reference code, which must be provided at check-in. We will hold your table for up to 15 minutes after the reservation time, after which your reservation can no longer be guaranteed.

Group Bookings Terms & Conditions (9 people or more)

CONFIRMATION
To confirm a booking (excludes Christmas bookings), a £10 deposit per person is required.
Deposit to be taken on confirmation of booking. Any bookings of 9 or more without a deposit payment are kept on enquiry status and cancelled if deposit payment not received within 72 hours of provisional booking.
Failure to pay the deposit will result in your provisional booking being cancelled, and your table being released to other customers.
The balance of the meal must be settled on the date of your reservation along with any drinks and extras.

GUEST NUMBERS
We will do our best to accommodate any increases in party size after your reservation has been confirmed but cannot guarantee that additional guests will be able to dine.
For groups of 12 or more, a pre-order is required at least 7 days prior to the event.

CANCELLATION
Should you cancel more than 28 days prior to your booking, you will receive a full refund of any deposits paid.
Should you cancel between 28 and 7 days prior to your booking, your deposit payment will be retained but can be transferred as credit to another date, or in the case of a reduction of numbers, deposits can be credited against the final bill.
Should you cancel between 7 and 2 days prior to your booking, we will retain the full deposit.
Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee to the amount of your pre-order.
Charges apply to both lunch and dinner reservations.

GRATUITY AND VAT
An optional service charge of 10% will be added to the final bill of all parties of 8 or more.

Mothering Sunday Terms & Conditions

CONFIRMATION
To confirm a reservation on Mothering Sunday, a £15 deposit per person is required at the time of booking.
The balance of the meal must be settled on the date of your reservation along with any drinks and extras.

GUEST NUMBERS
Should your party decrease in size, we will refund the deposit in full prior to 7 days in advance of your booking.
Any reduction in your party size after this date will result in a loss of your deposit.

GRATUITY AND VAT
An optional service charge of 10% will be added to the final bill, before the deposit or any other deductions are made.

A deposit of £10 per person is required to confirm a booking in a private dining room. If a deposit is required for a specific menu, i.e Mother’s Day, whichever is greater will be the required deposit in order to secure the booking.

For drinks and nibbles packages, a deposit and minimum spend requirement will be agreed in advance. The deposit will need to be paid in full in order to confirm the reservation.

CANCELLATION
Should you cancel 6 months prior to the event, you will incur the loss of your initial deposit payment.
Should you cancel between 3 and 6 months prior to the event, you will be charged 50% of the full amount of contracted items.
Should you cancel less than 3 months prior to the event, you will be charged 100% of the full amount of contracted items.

 

WEDDINGS
We require a guarantee deposit of £500 for your wedding.
50% deposit due 6 months prior to your wedding, with the remaining 50% to be paid 6 weeks prior to your date.

 

FUNCTIONS, CONFERENCES & PARTIES
We require a guarantee deposit of 25% of the contracted amount.
Full payment and final numbers are required 1 month prior to your booking.
Flexibility to cancel up to 14 days prior, for which we will retain up to 20% of your deposit.

Specific, one-off events, will be promoted at listed pubs. Please note the following T&C’s relating to these private events, which are taking place in April 2022.

1. The Castle Inn public house in Farnham and The Rose & Crown public house in Hampshire are both owned and operated by subsidiaries of Red Mist Holdings Ltd. The company address is: Units B&C Crondall Place, Coxbridge Business Park, Alton Road, Farnham, Surrey GU10 5EH.

2. The Murder Mystery events are private, ticketed events. Tickets are available by advance purchase only. Please do not purchase tickets via any other third party or method. In buying tickets through the website and once a valid payment is processed, the customer accepts and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

3. Please note, tickets are non-refundable.

4. The customer’s booking confirmation email and digital ticket email is the official entry ticket, which must be shown upon arrival (printed or via mobile phone) to the Murder Mystery events.

5. Entry into the Murder Mystery event is for over 18’s only.

6. Each £55 ticket allows entry to one person only. Included within the ticket price is one reception welcome drink, a three-course meal (reduced choice), plus a live entertainment performance, performed by top actors within the performing industry.

7. The event will commence at 19.00 hrs, we do ask you to arrive on time as the performance will begin soon after this.

8. The event will last approximately three hours and will take place throughout the course of the evening whilst customers consume their meal.

9. The Staff on duty, at any given time during the Murder Mystery events, reserve the right to refuse admission or request an immediate departure from the event to any member of the public if that person(s) is causing a disturbance to other customers. They can be asked to leave the premises without the recall of a refund.

10. The hosting pub will be closed to the public on the evening of the event and tickets must be purchased in advance, as will not be available at the door.

11. Should, for any reason, the Murder Mystery event need to be cancelled, you will receive a full refund on the payment card in which you paid.

Red Card Rewards Terms & Conditions

  1. Red Card Rewards loyalty programme has now closed, as of February 2022. Communications were sent out in advance of this closure informing all active primary collectors to use any vouchers they may have accrued.
  2. Whilst we await the new Red Mist Leisure loyalty programme, we will continue to communicate to, and provide special offers and/or rewards to the active Red Card Reward subscribers who had opted-in to Marketing Communications.
  3. Upon the new loyalty programme being activated, the original Red Card Rewards database will no longer be valid. All primary collectors who previously signed-up to become a member will need to re-apply to become a member of the new programme.
  4. £10 Whilst You Wait e-vouchers are a one-time only use ‘code generated’ voucher that was communicated via email to our existing database on 1st April 2022 using the email address that you registered with. Please check your spam folders.
  5. This e-voucher is valid until 30th April 2022 only and provides a £10 credit off your final bill, with no minimum spend. Please note, that the 30/4/22 expiry date cannot be extended, therefore should you not use it, you will lose it.
  6. Should you be dining with more than one original RCR holder, you are welcome to combine vouchers to use towards the final bill.
  7. This voucher is valid for one-time use only and therefore the unique generated code should only be validated when you are in the pub at the time of requesting your bill with your Server present. The unique generated code is valid for 30 seconds only, after which time the code becomes redundant.
  8. Red Cards and Red Card Points/Vouchers remain the property of Red Mist Leisure at all times and may not be redeemed for cash, they have no cash value.
  9. We reserve the right to terminate your Red Card Rewards Account if, in our opinion, you commit any act that we deem inappropriate. If we terminate your account, all outstanding points, vouchers, and discounts that you have accrued will be immediately cancelled and no cash payments or other compensation will be provided.
  10. Our terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and we both agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to any dispute, issue, or other matter which arises between us.
  11. All offers are subject to availability. You may not be able to use your Red Card ‘rewards’ in conjunction with other offers, if you are unsure which offers are eligible in the scheme please ask at any participating pub.
  12. Red Card ‘rewards’ may not be sold or transferred to any other individual or collector.
  13. You can terminate your membership at any time by advising us in writing. Any outstanding points, vouchers, and discounts that you have accrued will be immediately cancelled and no cash payments or other compensation will be provided.

Sports Team Sponsorship Terms & Conditions

OFFER
We are pleased to work closely with a variety of local sports team to support them where we can via various opportunities. One of these may be to receive a discount card.

DISCOUNT CARD
Should one of our pubs be a sponsor of your local sports team, you will receive a discount card offering a set discount on your total food bill. Please ask your Team/ Club Manager for a card, these are not available in the pub. Please note, this discount card is valid at specific pubs only, which will be noted on your card. A discount, which will be noted on your card, will be applied to your total bill. Please note, this discount will only be valid when a main meal has been purchased in addition to drinks i.e. you cannot just order drinks; this discount is valid on a maximum group size as specified on the discount card and the club member must be present. Should you not have your card on you, you will not be able to claim your discount. Should you give your card to friends and family to use without your presence, the card may be revoked. Please note, a maximum of 1 member discount card per table will be accepted and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts.

VALIDITY DATES
This discount will be available for the course of our sponsorship agreement. Please note, this discount may not be valid on key dates including, but not limited to, Valentines Day, Mothering Sunday, Father’s Day and New Year’s Eve.
